POSITION TITLE:               Chief Master Gunsmith

POSITION DUTIES:           

Ensure company policies, logistics and planning, environmental and processes, quality assurance and processes are consistently followed and implemented; oversee warranty repairs, customizations and upgrades; implement customer service to distributors, dealers, end-users, and owners, including performing some sales work; recruit, mentor, and introduce new hires in the repair and assembly of firearms; research, conceptualize, and introduce new repair and upgrade techniques to avoid returns; monitor supplies, materials and tools; research possible sources for materials, tools, and machinery; analyz and recommend interchangeability of spare parts; prepare products for trade shows and attend trade shows and customer demonstrations for potential high-volume customers; and liaison with our partners (such as STI) and subsidiary companies on technical matters.

Min Requirements:     

Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology or related field OR any equivalent of a two-year degree as determined by a professional evaluation plus five years of experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training.

Must have at least five years of work experience in the following tools, skills or knowledge:

1. 1)high end gun/pistol firearm design such as the Medallion or Spartan/STI lines
2. 2)all aspects from beginning to end of manufacturing and production of firearms
3. 3)knowledge related to the materials, manufacture and assembly of firearms
4. 4)experience in overseeing and supervising the handfitting, customization, repairs and upgrades of firearms
